SIZING
Before placing your order we strongly recommend that you check your size against the charts below. The measurements given in the charts refer to the actual body measurements. The size of the garment will vary according to the nature of the design. For example a size 12 corset that is intended to be worn tight will correspond almost exactly to the body measurement given. On the other hand, a coat that is designed to be worn over other garments will be cut a few inches larger than the body measurement to allow for ease of fit. If you are in doubt about which size to order, email your measurements to us and we will advise further.
If our standard sizes are simply not suitable for you, we do offer a Couture Service on selected designs.
SWATCH SERVICE
We do our best to ensure that our photography accurately reflects the fabric colours, however we have no control over the settings of your monitor, therefore the shade that you see on screen may not always be an accurate representation of the garment. We can provide fabric swatches for most of the designs featured. If you would like to see a swatch of the fabric prior to ordering please contact the UK studio.

Our mens clothing corresponds to the size chart above. Garments that are listed as one size only will comfortably fit a small to large.
Please order all jeans for both men and women by the waist size. Our standard waist sizes are 28" 30" 32" 34" 36" 38" the inside leg is a standard 34"
ORDERING
The simplest and fastest way to place your order is via the Online Shop We can accept most credit and debit cards in our online shop including AMEX. Please be assured that our order pages are fully secure and your credit card information is safe. Orders placed in this way are processed automatically and forwarded directly to the studio for dispatch.

PAYMENT
Payment can be made by using any of the following methods: Credit / Debit cards, Solo Cards, Paypal, UK Postal Orders, Personal Cheque in UK sterling or Euros only.
If you are having problems using your credit card online, please contact us by phone or e-mail.
SHIPPING
The Dark Angel are an International company and we ship to most countries worldwide. However we do have some specific exceptions. If you attempt to place an order online to a country that we do not ship to, you will see a message stating that we do not deliver to that country. If you receive this message we recommend that you contact us to see if a special shipping method can be arranged.
Our postage rates are all based on the weight of the garment. When you place your order in the Online Shop the postage rate will be automatically calculated for your delivery country. You will be able to see this total before you proceed to payment.
All items that we ship will require a signature on delivery, so please do not ask us to leave your parcel in the shed, porch etc. If you know you will not be home, please supply an alternative delivery address.
Within the UK all parcels are sent via Royal Mail first class Recorded Delivery. European and Rest of World orders are sent via International Recorded Delivery, Airsure or UPS express. The delivery method will depend on the weight of your order.
We can offer express shipping to most parts of the world. Please contact us by email for further information.
The majority of orders are shipped from our UK studio; however there are occasions when it is quicker to ship to you directly from our international studio. Parcels shipped from our International studio are usually sent within 48 hours of your order being placed. If we do find it necessary to send your order internationally you will not be charged any additional postage.
DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery times will vary from garment to garment depending on whether the item is in stock or needs to be specifically manufactured for you.
Over 90% of our featured range is held in stock. Items that are in stock are usually dispatched within 48 hours.
Most UK deliveries are made within two days. European and International Airmail deliveries can take 7 - 14 days. UPS International shipping is 2 - 3 days worldwide.
Garments that need to be manufactured to order are usually dispatched within 7 - 14 days of the order being placed, however we do request that you allow up to 28 days just in case we are waiting on a fabric / trimmings delivery.
If your order is likely to take longer than 28 days then we will inform you.
If you need your item by a specific date, we will do all that we can to ensure that it is with you on time. Please state the required date on your order form and check that this appears on your order confirmation. If it doesn't, please contact us directly.
RETURNS
We manufacture all of our garments to the highest possible standards using only top quality fabrics and trimmings. It is highly unlikely that you will receive a substandard garment from our studios.
However we do appreciate that shopping long distance can sometimes be difficult. Before you order we recommend that you double check your size against our size chart. If you are still in doubt, or you would like more information regarding the fit of a specific garment, please contact us. We are more that happy to offer accurate and honest advice.
If you receive an item that is simply not right for you, then we do offer a comprehensive returns service.
If you would like to exchange your item for an alternative option or a credit note, please return it unworn within seven days of receipt. Please state the problem with the garment and what you would like to exchange it for. Don’t forget to include your customer details.
If you do not want an alternative item and require a refund, then you must contact us within three days of your parcel being signed for. We will then give you a return code. Please Note: Any items returned without obtaining a return code will not be eligible for a refund and a credit note will be issued.
You can contact us by telephone or email. If you have not received a response within 24 hours then please try again.
When returning a garment please fold it neatly and package securely. Ensure that when you post it a signature is required on receipt.
We will not accept returns on items that are sent back; crumpled up, have deodorant marks, pet hair or smell strongly of smoke or perfume.
Returns information for overseas customers - The following information must be adhered to if you are returning items to us. To avoid Customs charges upon receipt you are required to state clearly on the outside of the package the following statement:
TEMPORARY EXPORT Item returned to manufacturer for repair / replacement.
Failure to state this could incur import duties. We will refuse parcels with import duties attached to them and insist they are returned to the sender.
We do not accept returns on any custom made items. Sale items may be returned for exchange or credit only. We do not offer refunds on sale goods.
Re-Stocking Fees
Please note that we reserve the right to charge a Re-Stocking fee to customers who we believe are abusing the returns policy. Repeated returns from a single order will be subject to a 20% charge. You will be notified in writing if subsequent returns are to incur a fee.
