424 - Romany Waistcoat
This classic 19th century style waistcoat features a decorative collar detail and two tailored watch pockets. The front panels are made from the most exquisite two tone shot Silk Taffeta. It is so difficult to photograph shot fabric and bring out the true beauty of it, you really do need to see it to appreciate its stunning effect. The fabric used on this design is a deep claret red that has been crossed with an olive gold, the colour changes and comes alive as the light hits it from different angles. The overall effect is a beautiful earthy, Pre-Raphaelite feel. To complement this it has been finished with ornate copper buttons.
