This beautiful dress is made from a stretch velvet. It fits snugly to the chest and waist then skims over the hips and falls into deep drapes. The sleeves are tightly fitted and come to a point over the hand, this is secured with an elastic loop that is worn over the finger. The stunning feature of this dress are the flowing diaphanous oversleeves, these are gathered softly onto the shoulder then fall to floor level. The dress also features a tasselled rope belt that is draped around the waist.
